Create & Manage Surveys

Note: Only Admins can create and manage surveys.

To create or manage a survey, click on Surveys in the menu bar and select the Surveys option from the dropdown.

CREATE A NEW SURVEY

To create a new survey, click the red button in the left sidebar and follow the prompts. Once you’re ready, click Create Survey at the bottom of the page. If you want a keyword for this survey, click Request a Keyword in the left sidebar. Please follow the prompts to ensure an accurate keyword request process. Note: The process of acquiring new keywords requires manual intervention. Once you request your keyword expect to wait up to 24 hours before we notify you via email that your keyword is approved and ready for use.

Next, select the new survey from the list of surveys to edit the questions. First name, last name, and phone number are predefined questions that will help you collect necessary information. These are automatically added to each survey. To add a previously used question or to collect predefined information, click the corresponding button on the edit surveys page. It is best to double check the predefined question list before creating new questions as these will be duplicated in the system. Specific predefined questions will appear on the Contacts page (gender, email address, phone, address, city, state, zip, and country).

To create a new question, click Add a Question. You’ll then need to determine what kind of question you’re asking: short answer, radio buttons, checkboxes, or a dropdown selection. You’ll then be asked for the question and column header (this will appear in the Contacts page), if you leave the column header blank MissionHub will display the entire question in its place.


MANAGE SURVEYS

To manage an existing survey, click on Survey in the Survey dropdown option. Here you’ll be able to manage survey questions, use Mass Entry, copy a survey to another org, edit or delete a survey. Click Manage Survey Questions to make changes to your survey. Here you can re-order, edit, or delete specific questions. First name, last name, and phone number are predefined questions that will help you collect necessary information. These are automatically added to each survey.

Click on Show Advanced Options for some additional notifications specific to survey answers.
